Doug has recently joined the sales team at Island Homes Realty.  With 30 years of experience in all areas of real estate, Doug is focussing on selling single family homes in Ladysmith / Nanaimo and surrounding areas.

Drawing from his experiences which include running a home construction company and renovating older homes, Doug has a good practical understanding of what to look for in any vintage of home.  Past and present clients note he will not hesitate to draw attention to both qualities and deficiencies in homes he shows.  His ability to put things into perspective in practical terms and suggest realtistic solutions is a definite asset.

Of Course, when it comes to finding the right home there is a lot more than condition to consider.  Doug takes pride in helping his clients to find the most appropriate home available and has the patience to keep working for his clients until a satisfactory result is achieved.

When Doug is not working, he is happliy engaged with his family; biking, hiking, building and generally looking for adventures.
